CV

Gregor Theune studied architecture at Technical University of Dortmund and communication design and photography at Folkwang University of the Arts and University of Newcastle, Australia. His work »Sakralbauten der Baujahre 1950-1980 in der Emscherregion« was funded by »bridges - Fotoprojekt Emscher Zukunft« and added to its collection in 2009. In 2010 he graduated with honors from Folkwang University of the Arts and works since then as a freelance photographer in Cologne, Germany. Besides that he published the award-winning book »Nadogradnje - Urban Self-Regulation in Post-Yugoslav Cities« with co-editor Sven Quadflieg and holds teaching assignments at Technical University of Darmstadt since April 2013 and at Folkwang University of the Arts since October 2015.
